Puddle is a little duckling who just can't wait to start school. Every day, as he watches the older ducklings make their way to school, he wishes he could be like them. But one day, when mother duck tells Puddle that he is now old enough to start school, he realizes that going to school will mean separation from his mom. Suddenly, he is frightened. Does he have the courage to take that first big step and go to school all by himself?
